We Barely Use Them
Most travel sites bombard you with dozens of cookies the second you land. We don’t. When you open the site, exactly one tiny cookie is created and it only exists to remember two things: whether you prefer light or dark mode and which language you picked. That’s it. Nothing else.
What the Cookie Actually Does
It is a session cookie, meaning it lives only while your browser is open and disappears forever the moment you close the tab or the browser. It never contains your name, email, location, or anything that could identify you. It is smaller than a single photo thumbnail and is stored only on your device, not on our servers.
No Tracking, No Advertising, No Third Parties
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta pixels, advertising networks, social-media buttons that spy on you, or any other third-party code that follows you around the internet. There are zero marketing cookies, zero profiling cookies, and zero cookies that try to guess what you might buy next. The site works the same whether you allow cookies or block everything.
Strictly Necessary Only
The single cookie we set falls into the “strictly necessary” category according to every privacy law on the planet. It is required for the site to function the way you expect: if you switch to dark mode, you don’t want to do it again on every page. Because it is strictly necessary and contains no personal data, most browsers allow it even when you have blocked everything else.
Your Choices
You can delete it anytime by clearing your browser cache, using private/incognito mode, or turning on “Do Not Track” — the site will work perfectly anyway, you’ll just have to pick light or dark again when you come back. If you block all cookies completely, nothing breaks, you simply see the default view.
Future Changes
If we ever add a new feature that actually needs more than one tiny session cookie (for example, saving favorite places or offline reading), we will update this page first, explain exactly what changed, and ask for your consent before setting anything new.
