Our Promise
We hate spam more than you do. We built this site to share travel information, not to harvest your data or sell it to anyone. This policy explains exactly what little we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.
Information We Actually Collect
When you simply read the site, we receive nothing personal. Your name, email, or any identifier never reaches us unless you decide to write to us. The server logs standard technical details like most websites: IP address, browser type, the page you visited, and the time. That data stays anonymous and is only used to understand traffic patterns and keep the site running smoothly.
Cookies and Tracking
We use a tiny session cookie so the site remembers if you switched to dark mode or changed language. It disappears the moment you close the browser. We do not use analytics services that build profiles, track you across the internet, or show you ads anywhere. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no third-party trackers at all.
Contact Forms and Emails
If you send us a message through the contact page or directly to [email protected], we obviously receive whatever you choose to write, including your email address and name if you provide it. We keep those messages only as long as needed to reply and help you. After the conversation ends, we delete everything unless you explicitly ask us to keep in touch for future updates.
Newsletter (We Don’t Have One Yet)
Right now we do not send any newsletters or marketing emails. If we ever decide to start one, we will only add people who actively opt in, and the unsubscribe link will work with one click. Until then, your inbox stays safe.
Children’s Privacy
The site is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If we ever discover we have received such data, we delete it immediately.
Data Storage and Security
Everything is stored on encrypted servers located in the United States. Access is restricted to the very small team that runs the site. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade personal information with anyone, ever. The only exception would be if law enforcement presents a valid legal order, in which case we would disclose only what is strictly required.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time what (if anything) we have about you, and we will tell you within a few days. You can also request deletion of any message or data we hold. Just write to [email protected] and we’ll take care of it, no questions asked.
Changes to This Policy
If anything important changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and mention the change here. Since we collect almost nothing, major changes are unlikely, but transparency matters.
